Rural tourism in Bashkiria was presented at Ufa Hospitality and Tourism Industry Forum

UFA, 17 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkir State Agricultural University (BSAU) presented a relatively new form of recreation – rural tourism at the Hospitality and Tourism Industry Forum. This type of holiday in the global tourism industry is rapidly developing. However, in Russia it is still emerging.

The university exposition aroused great interest among the visitors.

"One of the areas of rural tourism offered by our university is organized hikes to the tourist camp "Burzyan Tale" near the Shulgan-Tash reserve. It is possible to conduct a variety of active tours there. Among them there is rafting over the upper reaches of the River White, hiking and ski tours with climbing Mount Masim, speleo tours to the "Fairy Tale" Cave, horseback riding and visiting the "Burzyan Bee" apiary", said the head of the department of physical education, sport and tourism BSAU Olga Valiullina.

In her opinion, the region has good prospects for the rural tourism development.
