Lowest inflation rate in Volga Federal District is marked in Bashkiria

UFA, 15 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In October in Bashkortostan the consumer price index amounted to 100.3 percent compared to September. This is the lowest figure among the subjects of the Volga Federal District. This was reported by the Chairman of State Committee of the Republic for Trade and Consumer Protection Guzel Asylova. The data were announced on November 15 at a meeting of the working group of the State Assembly RB for information and analytical monitoring of the food market state.

As noted by the speaker, the price situation in the region was stable; the price increase was much lower than in the same period of the last year.

"In general, the price index for all goods and services was 104.2 in the republic, in Russia - 104.5. The national inflation rate for food products was also higher - 103.2, while we had - 102.9 percent", Guzel Asylova said.

Over the past month the price growth rate for meat, dairy products, eggs and sugar was lower than in the district. The republic is in the 75th place among Russian subjects in level of prices for socially important products in descending order.
