All-Russian Agricultural Census 2016 first results are announced

UFA, 15 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Rosstat (the Federal State Statistics Service) published the first results of the All-Russian Agricultural Census held from July 1 to August 15 this year. They are presented by categories of agricultural producers in Russia as a whole, by federal districts and subjects of the country.

The information includes the number of the census objects and a total land area based on a census object by categories of agricultural producers. These are agricultural organizations, individual entrepreneurs, farmers, private farms of citizens, as well as gardening plots, gardening and non-profit associations, etc.

The publication gives a table which shows the comparative data with the results of the All-Russian agricultural census of 2006, considering to the current legislation on classifying economic entities as small and medium-sized businesses in 2006 and 2016.

The statistical bulletin presents charts on the total land area based on a census object in Russia and in the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as cartograms. You can find statistical bulletin here.

On November 15, the All-Russian Agricultural Census in remote and inaccessible areas completes. It was held from September 15 this year.

Preliminary results of the census will be summed up in the 4th quarter of 2017, the final results - in the 4th quarter of 2018.
