Bugulchanskaya solar power plant in Bashkiria started operating at full capacity

UFA, 14 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Hevel Company put into operation the third stage of the Bugulchanskaya solar power plant of 5 MW capacity in Kuyurgazy District of Bashkortostan.

The SPP construction was conducted in three stages and was completed on time.

The first stage of the Bugulchanskaya solar power plant was put into operation in December last year. In April this year, the plant entered the wholesale market of electricity. The generation volume of the SPP first stage for the seven months of this year amounted to more than 4.5 GWh, exceeding the planned figures by 26 percent.

The second phase of Bugulchanskaya SPP of 5 MW capacity was launched less than a month ago - on October 21. It was started remotely by the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, who arrived in Ufa at the Russian Energy Forum.

Now, after the commissioning of the third stage the plant reached its design capacity of 15 MW.

After completion of all maintenance work the second and third stage of the power plant will supply electricity to the wholesale market.

70 percent of the equipment used in the construction of the plant was produced by the Russian enterprises of electrical and metal industry.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, Bugulchanskaya SPP can meet 60-70 percent of the needs of Kuyurgazinsky District in electricity.
