24 bridges to be repaired through Platon tolls system in Russia
UFA, 14 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In the next year 24 bridges will be repaired, as well as seven new facilities construction is planned through the Platon system funds. This was reported by the Rosavtodor (Federal Road Agency) of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. As Rosavtodor specifies until the end of 2017 it is planned to reconstruct 24 wrecking bridges and overpasses in Udmurtia, Chechnya, Chuvashia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Samara, Voronezh, Bryansk, Oryol, Penza, Tambov regions, as well as Buryatia, Krasnodar and Altai Territories. 2.6 billion rubles are allocated for these purposes.
Also, six new bridges will be built. 7.8 billion rubles from the Platon truck tax system are allocated for their co-financing. In 2017 a bridge over the Katun river in the Altai region (600 million rubles), Gogol overpass in Petrozavodsk (600 million rubles), a bridge across the Volga in Nizhny Novgorod (3.6 billion), and Voroshilov bridge in Rostov-on-Don (1.5 billion) will be built.
In 2018 it is expected to put into operation a Frunze bridge in Samara (the amount of co-financing is 1 billion rubles), in 2019 - a bridge across the Volga in Dubna near Moscow (500 million rubles).
The first of the projects built by means of the truck tax system was ahead of schedule opened in Ufa in October this year. 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for the co-financing of the new Zaton bridge construction in Ufa.
