Bashkortostan entered top ten credit-active regions

UFA, 9 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Bashkortostan is in the top ten credit-active regions in the third quarter, according to United Credit Bureau. This rating includes Moscow (600 thousand loans for 135.7 billion rubles), St. Petersburg (315 thousand loans to 50 billion), Krasnodar Territory (245 thousand loans for 30 billion rubles), Sverdlovsk Region, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Rostov and Samara regions. 39 percent of all loans issued in the country are accounted for the top ten.

Since the beginning of the year, a segment of credit cards and mortgages rose slightly. At the moment in Russia there are about 2.73 million mortgage borrowers, each of them due banks on average 1.29 million rubles.

Credit cards are the most popular loan product; about 31.12 million people hold such cards. The average limit per card is 49,5 thousand rubles, the average debt is about 31 thousand.

Cash loans portfolio continues its falling, car loans showed the greatest decline. At the moment, about 1.22 million Russians pay them. The average debt on car loans is 405 thousand rubles.
