Rospotrebnadzor withdrawn from circulation 624 kg of vegetables in Bashkiria

UFA, 31 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Rospotrebnadzor inspectors withdrawn from circulation 624 kg of fruit and vegetables in the republic from the beginning of the year, having rejected 41 batches. As explained in the department, these goods were without supporting documents confirming their safety.

Year to date 1726 samples of fruit and vegetables have been examined within the framework of social and hygienic monitoring. Of these, 16 (less than 1 percent) showed high content of nitrates, 1 - cadmium.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture RB, 6126 republican enterprises are occupied in fruit and vegetables merchandise turnover, 174 greenhouses in production.
