Bashkiria will receive 5 billion rubles of dividends from Bashneft

UFA, 28 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan plans to receive 5 billion rubles of dividends from PJSC Bashneft following the company's operation results for 2016. The Chairman of the Committee for Budget, Tax, Investment Policy and Territorial Development of the State Assembly RB Ruzaliya Khismatullina told reporters about it.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the Bashneft’s shareholders at the annual meeting approved dividends for 2015 in the amount of 29.1 billion rubles, which is 50 percent of the company’s net profit under IFRS.

The Republic of Bashkortostan owns a blocking stake (25 percent plus one share) in the company. Thus, Bashneft transferred to the regional treasury 7.3 billion rubles of dividends.

Last year, the republic received dividends from the shareholding in Bashneft in the amount of 5 billion rubles for the year of 2014.
