Fitch International Agency improved rating outlook of Bashkiria
UFA, 24 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The International Fitch Ratings Agency upgraded the rating of 9 Russian regions, including Bashkortostan, from negative to stable.
«Fitch revised the outlook on the rating of nine Russian local and regional governments from negative to stable. These include Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Sakha (Yakutia), and Chelyabinsk, Leningrad, Novosibirsk and Tyumen regions ", it is said in the statement.
The Fitch Ratings Agency in the middle of October upgraded the outlook for long-term issuer default rating (IDR) of the Russian Federation in foreign and national currencies from negative to stable, having confirmed the rating at «BBB-».
Ratings of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and Tyumen region are limited with the sovereign rating of Russia. Any rating activity with respect to the Russia's sovereign rating will lead to the corresponding rating activity with respect to these issuers. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
