Bashkiria will host SCO and BRICS Small Business Forum

UFA, 24 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. From November 30 to December 2, the 2nd Small Business Forum of Regions of the SCO and BRICS member states will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan.

The first Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS was held in Ufa from October 21 to 23, 2015 and brought together 1,400 participants from 22 countries. The main objective of the forum is to exchange international experience in supporting small businesses and promoting cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises.

Participants of the Forum 2016 will be presented financial instruments to help small industrial enterprises. They will be focused on regional opportunities.

The Forum will also touch upon the issues of technological equipment leasing, subsidies for engineering services, industrial sector-specific programs and cooperation with regional industry funds. In addition, the State Information Industry System features will be disclosed in Ufa. It will play an important role in increasing the share of small and medium-sized enterprises participation in public procurement.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the organizing committee for the SCO and BRICS Small Business Forum 2016 was headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Dmitry Sharonov.
