UFA, 21 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In Kuyurgazy District of Bashkortostan the second stage of Bugulchanskaya solar power plant was launched. It was opened remotely by the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, who arrived in Ufa at the Russian Energy Forum.
The first stage of Bugulchanskaya solar power plant was put into operation in December last year. Today the second stage of 5 MW started operating. By the end of the year it is scheduled to commission the third stage, after which the power plant will reach its full capacity - 15 MW.
Two thirds of the equipment used in the construction of the plant are produced by the Russian enterprises of electrical and metal industry.
The facility investor is "Avelar Solar Technology" LLC, which is a subsidiary of the Hevel company (joint venture of "Renova" company and JSC "RUSNANO").
The Bugulchanskaya SPP is a part of the solar power plants network, which the Hevel company plans to build in Bashkortostan in the coming years.
