Rustem Khamitov has met with PJSC Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On October 19, a working meeting of the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the CEO of PJSC OC Rosneft Igor Sechin was held in Ufa.

The central theme of the meeting was the development strategy of PJSOC Bashneft, its dividend and tax policy. The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation between the region and Rosneft, including in construction and modernization of petrochemical facilities, environmental protection and implementation of social programs.

After the meeting, Rustem Khamitov and Igor Sechin visited the "Mother and Child" Clinical Hospital.

Recall, that on October 12, Rosneft signed an agreement on purchase and sale of state-owned stake in Bashneft and fully complied with its obligations under the agreement, having transferred 329.7 billion rubles to the Federal Treasury. The acquisition of the controlling stake in the company is completed.

On October 13, the new composition of the Management Board of Bashneft was elected according to the decision of the Board of Directors. The vice president of Rosneft Andrey Shishkin was appointed the President and the Chairman of the Management Board of the company for a five-year term.

The Republic of Bashkortostan owns 38,128,551 ordinary shares and 6,280,076 preference shares of PJSOC Bashneft (25 percent of the authorized capital).
