Population natural increase exceeded 2.6 thousand people in Bashkortostan

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The natural increase of the population in Bashkortostan in the first nine months of this year exceeded 2.6 thousand people.

As it was reported at the meeting of the board by the Health Minister RB Anwar Bakirov demographic trends characterized by a decrease in mortality preserved in the region. Infant mortality decreased by 1.3 times compared with the last year, mortality rate due to traffic accidents – by 1.5.

During the meeting issues of providing high-tech medical care to the residents of Bashkortostan were discussed. In order to increase its volume the regional Ministry of Health allocated 780 million rubles for 2628 surgeries this year. In addition, the federal budget received subsidies in the amount of 955 million rubles for the 3251 surgeries, the ministry informs.
