Bashneft will continue to support HC Salavat Yulaev

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Financial support of the Salavat Yulaev hockey club rendered by Bashneft will not decrease. This was told reporters by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov at a briefing after a meeting with the CEO of the PJSC OC Rosneft Igor Sechin.

The Head of the Republic said that the sale of state-owned stake in Bashneft would not affect the sponsorship of our team, despite the fact that Rosneft already funded CSKA.

"During the meeting with Igor Sechin, I drew attention to the fact that HC Salavat Yulaev – is a brand of our republic. Therefore, the support will remain at least at the same level. We will try to increase due to more efficient work of the company", said Rustem Khamitov.

According to the Head of Bashkortostan, assistance will also be provided to municipalities, where the oil-producing companies are located. Issues of culture support and other sports areas are under consideration.
