Bashkortostan is awarded for its contribution to proactive budgeting development

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan is marked with a diploma of the organizing committee of the All-Russian Conference on Proactive Budgeting for its contribution to the development of this area. Our republic is positioned as a region striving for the maximum use of citizens’ participation in public infrastructure development in settlements.

The Minister of Finance RB Rida Subkhankulova was handed over the award by the Chairman of the Committee of Civil Initiatives Alexei Kudrin.

The awarding ceremony took place in the framework of the 2nd All-Russian Conference on Proactive Budgeting, which takes place now in Moscow.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Finance, the World Bank and the Committee of Civil Initiatives, under the auspices of which the proactive budgeting mechanisms are developing in Russia. Its main principle is broad involvement of citizens in the budget process, in the economic development of areas, the press service of the Ministry of Finance RB explains.
