Bashkortostan Government and Rosneft to sign a global agreement

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. A global agreement will be concluded between the Government of Bashkortostan and Rosneft. The text of the document will be prepared within a month, and will be signed before the end of this year. This was told reporters by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov after a meeting with the CEO of PJSC Rosneft Igor Sechin.

The agreement is planned to include all aspects of cooperation. The parties have agreed to maintain all Bashneft’s obligations to the republic regarding the dividends, charity and taxes.

Speaking about the dividend policy, the Head of the Region noted that the volume of the funds that had been achieved in 2016, at least, would remain at this level, and if the company performs better, it would increase.

"This year we will get 11 billion rubles of extra-budgetary revenues. No region has such support ", said Rustem Khamitov.

Regarding the investment in new production facilities, the Head of the Republic said that a number of projects for the construction proposed previously would be critically re-considered. Meanwhile, Rosneft is greatly interested in the development of new industries.

"The investment program will be revised taking into account a synergy approach, it will be extensive. Rosneft is very interested in petrochemical issues. In this part, we have our own offers", said the Head of Bashkortostan.
