Mainly high-quality meat and meat products are sold in Bashkortostan - Rospotrebnadzor

UFA, 14 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkortostan mainly high-quality meat and meat products are sold. According to Rospotrebnadzor RB, 1525 samples of meat and meat products were examined in the third quarter. Of them 3.2 percent did not meet hygienic standards. 602 samples were studied for physical and chemical parameters, 6.5 percent of them did not meet the requirements.

436 samples were examined for sanitary-chemical parameters compliance, 307 for the content of antibiotics, 425 for radiological characteristics, 34 for GMO content. All examined samples met hygienic standards.

During the quarter, the inspectors withdrawn from sale 153 lots of bad quality products weighting 498 kg. 125 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up for failure to comply with sanitary regulations in manufacture and sale of products of animal origin; fines in the amount of 556.4 thousand rubles were imposed.
