Energy Forum Program in Ufa will be intense - Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Government

UFA, 13 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Ufa for the 16th time will be a venue for a large-scale Russian Energy Forum. It will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan, from October 18 to 21. It is expected that the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak will take part in the event.

The main topic of the forum will be innovative energy. According to the organizers, it reflects the essence of necessary reforms in the sector.

"The program is quite large. It will cover 25 events, including round tables and conferences", said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Dmitry Sharonov at a press conference in Bashinform News Agency.

Within the framework of the Russian Energy Forum, the 50th meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council will be held for the first time in the republic. Such meetings are held twice a year and are "an important platform for the energy issues discussion in the CIS", added the Deputy Prime Minister.

On October 18, the Youth Day will be carried out, or a shirt-sleeve meeting of undergraduate and graduate students with directors of the main companies in the industry.

"The issue of human resources training for the innovative energy sector is a key one", the Rector of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Ramil Bakhtizin noted.

According to the Director General of the Bashkir Exhibition Company Albina Kildigulova, the business part of the forum coincides with the exhibition part for the third consecutive year. Specialized exhibitions "Ural Energy" and "Heat. Electrical Engineering. Cables" will feature more than 150 Russian companies, official representatives and dealers of the world's largest electrical holdings.

The Russian Energy Forum venue is the "VDNKh-Expo" exhibition complex.
