Rosneft will buy Bashneft’s controlling stake without bidding for 329.6 billion rubles

UFA, 7 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Rosneft will buy Bashneft’s controlling stake without bidding for 329.6 billion rubles. The Russian government has approved the acquisition by the state-owned company of 50.08 percent stake in PJSOC Bashneft belonging to the state. The document envisages making a purchase before October 15. This is reported by the federal media.

This sum is higher than the value assigned to the state's stake in Bashneft by the outside experts - from 297 to 315 billion rubles. The failed bidder - Lukoil private company planned to acquire a share for 250 billion rubles, 1Prime agency informs. There's also been reported that the Republic of Bashkortostan, which owns 25 percent stake in Bashneft, plans to save the package and the level of dividends at the level of 2015, following which the oil company brought to the regional budget 7.25 billion rubles.
