Average salary reached 26,786 rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. According to sample labour force surveys in June-August this year, the average salary in Bashkortostan amounted to 26 786 rubles in July. The subsistence minimum for able-bodied population was 9363 rubles. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB.

According to the surveys, the number of economically active population of Bashkortostan amounted to 2 million 015.9 thousand people.

The number of unemployed, according to the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), was more than 110 thousand.

Total unemployment rate, according to ILO standards, stood at 5.5 percent.

On October 1, there were about 22.5 thousand officially unemployed and 36.3 thousand jobs in the region. The registered unemployment rate was 1.11 percent.
