Entrepreneurship Day to be held in Oktyabrsky city in Bashkortostan

UFA, 4 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. On October, 27, the Bashkir city of Oktyabrsky will host the Entrepreneurship Day. The event is carried out for small businesses in order to help entrepreneurs in their development during a crisis period, the organizers explained. The event is organized by Oktyabrsky city administration, the State Committee RB for Business and Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce RB. Multiple venues will run during the event.

"The small businesses of the republic employ 30 percent of total number of working people. One fifth of the gross regional product is accounted for the small business. According to a survey, of 600 businesses, only 17 percent expect to maintain their business and the level of sales in the crisis, the remaining ones expect a decline. 32 percent of respondents hope to open a new business area or to expand their business. These data testify to the fact that the majority of small businesses are on the brink of survival now. In turn, the situation is explained by low competitiveness of small business of our republic", the "Business School" CCI RB commented on.
