Rustem Khamitov headed Bashkortostan delegation at "Sochi-2016" International Investment Forum

UFA, 29 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov led the delegation of our republic at the "Sochi-2016" International Investment Forum, which takes place from September 29 to October 2.

The Head of the Region will participate in a plenary session devoted to a new quality of public administration, and will deliver a speech at the session of the Presidium of the Presidential Council RF on Strategic Development and Priority Projects, which will be held by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The delegation working program includes panel discussions, workshops, participation in sessions on such key issues of socio-economic regional development, as realization of export potential, special economic zones development, public-private partnership, formation of development institutions.

It is planned to sign agreements on cooperation of the Republic of Bashkortostan with a number of regions of the country and foreign business representatives.

The "Sochi" International Investment Forum was initiated in 2002 to discuss the issues of attracting investments to the regions. It is held annually with the support of the Russian Government. The activities of the Forum are attended by about 10 thousand people from 25 countries, including representatives of the Russian Federation.
