Housing construction volume amounted to 1.6 million sq m in Bashkortostan year to date

UFA, 14 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. In January-August in Bashkortostan 18,4 thousand apartments with a total area of 1.6 million sq m were commissioned. In comparison with the comparable index in 2015 the volume of housing construction fell by five percent, according to the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service. 384 sq m of housing were built per every thousand inhabitants.

72.2 percent of commissioned housing is accounted for individual developers in the structure of housing of the republic. Individual developers built 10.3 thousand houses with a total area of 1.1 million sq m using their own funds and with attracted loans (plus 1.8 percent compared to January-August 2015).

Bashkortostan is a leader in the Volga Federal District in commissioning of residential houses in January-August. In housing construction per capita the region is on the third place after the Republic of Mari El, Tatarstan, where 419 and 404 sq m of housing per thousand population were put into operation, respectively.
