"Product of Bashkortostan" brand is preferred by more than half of republican residents - poll

According to the poll, 80 percent of the republican population are aware of the "Product of Bashkortostan" brand, and 60 percent prefer it. These data were reported by the chairman of Bashkortostan State Committee for Trade and Consumer Protection Guzel Asylova at a meeting of Committee for Agrarian Issues, Ecology and Nature Management of the State Assembly RB.

At the same time 75 percent of the regional inhabitants of are guided by price while buying products. As noted by Guzel Asylova, local products are not cheap, but it is justified by their high quality and natural composition. According to the chairman of the State Committee, it is necessary to increase the brand awareness outside the republic.

The "Product of Bashkortostan" project curator, the head of the "Salam" program on BST TV channel Alfiya Yusupova said that the television channel also supported local producers. According to a survey conducted in late 2014, only every fifth citizen of the republic could explain the meaning of the "Product of Bashkortostan" brand. A year later, the brand was known to every second survey participant.
