Used cars sales increased by 15 percent in Bashkiria

Bashkortostan sales of used cars increased by 15 percent in the first seven months of this year compared to the same period of the last year. According to this index our republic is among top five regional markets among cities - non-capitals.

According to the «Autostat» analytical agency, the volume of the secondary car market in Russia amounted to 2 million 923.3 thousand vehicles, which is 9.3 percent more year on year. The share of Bashkortostan was 2.66 percent of Russia's total. 77 786 used cars were sold in the republic, which is 15.1 percent more than the last year.

The top ten leading regions included Krasnodar, Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk regions and Tatarstan. Thus, when compared with the June ranking, Chelyabinsk and Novosibirsk regions improved their positions in the top 10, while Tatarstan was down by two points.
