Every Bashkiria resident including elderly and children owes 67 thousand rubles to banks

UFA, 29 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. Bashkortostan is located on the 38th place in the debt load rating of inhabitants of the Russian regions in the first half of the year. Experts of "SeverInform" information-analytical agency analyzed data from the Central Bank as of 1 July 2016 and found entities with minimum and maximum debt burden on the population.

According to the rating, every citizen of Bashkortostan, including the elderly and children, owes banks about 67 thousand rubles. In the republic, banks issued loans to individuals totaling 272.39 billion rubles. The overdue debt amounted to 27.1 billion rubles as of July 1 this year.

Compared to the beginning of the year the situation has changed little, experts mark. The biggest debt burden falls on the residents of the Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Districts - 183 and 165 thousand rubles per person, respectively. At the same time the national average is about 72 thousand rubles. They are followed by Magadan Region, the Nenets Autonomous District, the Republic of Sakha and Komi, Moscow and Murmansk regions, where debt load of residents exceeded 100 thousand rubles. The lowest debt burden falls on Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Sevastopol and Crimea. In these regions the debt load is below 12 thousand rubles per person.
