620 million rubles were invested in Chekmagush dairy plant modernization

UFA, 22 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On August 20, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip to Chekmagush region visited a dairy factory, which makes products under the "Krai Kuraya" brand name.

Since 2011 a large-scale investment project on modernizing production facilities is realized there. The total investment amounted to 620 million rubles. The first production line of dairy products and pasteurized milk was launched in 2012. In 2013-2014, new production and storage facilities with total area of 1 690 sq m were constructed. Last year two production lines for making sterilized milk were put into operation.

Rustem Khamitov visited a raw materials laboratory, heat treatment, pasteurization and sterilization shops, a packing line. This year, a Tetra Pak packaging line and two sterilizers with 7200 and 10 000 l/min capacity were installed at the factory.

According to the factory representatives, now milk and milk products of the "Krai Kuraya" brand name are available in the stores of the republic, as well as in other regions and major cities of Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Head of the Republic marked the necessity of expanding a resource base and reaching a designed capacity - up to 500 tons of processed milk per day.
