Interest of Bashkiria residents and businesses to internet banking is growing, but at a slow pace

UFA, 29 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The interest of Bashkortostan residents and businesses to internet banking if grows but at an extremely slow pace. Such a conclusion was made by RBC-Ufa, studying the official statistics prepared by the National Bank of the Republic.

Only every sixth inhabitant of the region controls his account over the Internet, and less than half of the legal entities. As of April 1, 41.8 percent accounts of organizations had such an option. It is noted that for the year this share decreased by 0.2 percent.

The share of the republican citizens using the Internet, SMS and mobile applications to conduct transactions with their accounts, increases with slow rates. A year ago, 13.1 percent of all individuals used such option, this year - 16.

According to experts, the Russian banks "have yet to solve a lot of issues in terms of convenience of online work with deposits. For example, one of the drawbacks: often a deposit can be opened online, but still should be managed through an office".
