Bashkortostan farmers harvested more than 400 thousand tons of grain

UFA, 28 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Farmers of Bashkortostan harvested more than 400 thousand tons of grain. The average yield of grains and leguminous plants in the region is 21.8 centners per hectare. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB.

Thus farmers of Chekmagush region harvest more than 30 centners of grain per hectare. Farmers of Davlekanovo, Iglino, Kaltasy, Karmaskaly, Meleuz and Chishmy regions - more than 25 centners per hectare. Sterlitamak and Meleuz growers got the largest amount of grain so far.

Total according to the Agricultural Consulting Centre of Bashkortostan grain crops and legumes are mowed now on almost 226 thousand hectares (12 percent of the plan), threshed - on 184 thousand hectares (10 percent).

As Bashinform News Agency reported, this year grains and legumes to be harvested on the area of 1804 thousand hectares, of which 409 thousand hectares are winter crops.
