UMPO Board of Directors is headed by ex-Defense Minister of Russia Anatoly Serdyukov

UFA, 27 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. The Board of Directors of PJSC UMPO elected the industrial director of the Rostec state corporation, former Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov as the Chairman of the Board. The decision was taken at a Board of Directors on July 25, according to "Kommersant-Ufa" referring to the company’s materials.

In addition, the Board of Directors approved two transactions between UEC and UMPO providing for the signing of a loan agreement with a limit of 1.92 billion rubles and 4.7 billion rubles.

PJSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" (UMPO) is the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in Russia. The main activities are development, production, maintenance and repair of turbo-jet aircraft engines and gas-pumping units, manufacture and repair of helicopter units. It is a part of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) - a 100-percent subsidiary of JSC Oboronprom for engine building companies assets management.
