It is planned to be intensely engaged in fish farming in Bashkiria

UFA, 27 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. It is begun to breed trout in Abzelilovo region of Bashkortostan. As part of the Medium-Term Trans-Urals Economic Development Comprehensive Program, the Ecoholding LLC "Kyrykty-Tau" built a trout farm "Davletbikya". It is located on a plot of 1.2 hectares. The annual production capacity is 20 tons.

Currently 10 thousand young trout fish are released in the water. The first commercial products are expected in November this year. By this time, the weight of trout should reach about 600 grams.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, the Ecoholding LLC "Kyrykty-Tau" has already defined a second site for the construction of a new trout farm with capacity of 10 tons. It is located in the same area, near Novoabzakovo.

Besides, now the Ecoholding develops a concept of the assortment farm creation in lakes of South Ulyandy (230 hectares), Surtandy (761 hectares), Atavdy (830 hectares), with farming capacity nearly 500 tons of carp, silver carp, grass carp, pike, sterlet, sturgeon and trout.

Today, the republican production covers approximately five percent of the needs of Bashkortostan population in fish products.

It is pre-planned creation of 30 farms with farming capacity from three or more tons, the department of special programs of the Office of the Government of Bashkortostan reports.
