Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the main summer farmers forum - "Field Day 2016"

UFA, 22 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited a Sterlitamak region yesterday. He acquainted with work of agricultural enterprises, and also took part in the republican seminar-meeting on the organization of grains and legumes harvesting - "Field Day 2016".

Rustem Khamitov visited the fields of "Agrofirma Salavat" LLC. The farm is engaged in outdoor growing of vegetables and potatoes. There was also an exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment and crop irrigation systems, presented by the Directorate of Land Reclamation and "Bashmeliovodhoz" Directorate.

According to Rustem Khamitov, the best practices presented at the main summer forum of farmers should be implemented universally.

After the official opening of the "Field Day 2016" the Head of Bashkortostan visited a major exhibition of agricultural machinery. Domestic equipment, including the republican agricultural machinery took a significant place at the exhibition.

For example, the "Murom-1500" combine harvester, the prototype of which was "Don-1500" combine, is manufactured at Sukkulovo repair shop in Dyurtyuly region of the republic. The most efficient and successful thresher was modernized there using domestic components into a new self-propelled combine harvester featuring many advantages.

In addition, the exhibition displayed modern equipment for postharvest processing of grain, machinery and equipment for animal husbandry, fertilizers and seeds.

Next to the exhibition plots with crops of winter and spring cereals, oilseeds, leguminous and other crops with dozens of new varieties and hybrids were located.

As the press service of the Head of the Republic informs, Rustem Khamitov familiarized also with the developments of scientists of Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture, Bashkir State Agricultural University and "Rosselhoztsentr".

"Our republic will continue to subsidize purchases of agricultural machinery and advanced technologies, primarily of domestic and republican production", the Head of Bashkortostan stated.
