Retail lending rates grow in Bashkiria

In January-May, the banks issued to residents of Bashkortostan loans worth 63.81 billion rubles, which is 39.4 percent more than in January-May 2015. This is evidenced by the Department of Financial Statistics - National Bank of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ural Main Directorate CBR.

The loan balance of individuals as of June 1 amounted to 272.45 billion rubles, down 1.7 percent compared to the same period of the last year. Arrears amounted to 27.31 billion rubles, an increase of 20.9 percent since June 1, 2015. The share of overdue loans in the total amount of debt amounted to 10 percent, an increase of 1.9 percentage points to the corresponding period of the last year.

In January-May, it was issued 11,474 residential mortgage loans worth 16.18 billion rubles. This is more than in January-May 2015 by 68.8 and 76.5 percent, respectively.

Arrears on mortgage loans granted by banks to residents of the republic amounted to 103.34 billion rubles as of June 1, 2016. Arrears on loans in this category amounted to 1.13 billion rubles (growth by 1.6 times).
