Bashkortostan consolidated budget surplus amounted to 8.9 billion rubles for the first half of the year

In January-June the Bashkortostan consolidated budget was executed with a surplus of 8.9 billion rubles, according to the Ministry of Finance RB. Revenues amounted to 90.78 billion rubles - a growth of 9.7 percent over the same period of the last year. Expenditures were financed in the amount of 81.92 billion rubles - a growth of 3.4 percent.

The total income tax and non-tax revenues amounted to 73.88 billion rubles (plus 12.6 percent compared to January-June 2015). The main sources of income were - personal income tax - 21.32 billion rubles (28.9 percent), corporate profit tax - 20.73 billion (28.1 per cent), excise taxes - 9.19 billion (12.4 percent) , property taxes - 7.53 billion (10.2 percent), total revenue taxes - 3.54 billion rubles (4.8 percent).

Revenues from the use of state and municipal property increased by 1.4 times and amounted to 7.59 billion rubles. Gratuitous receipts decreased - by 1.5 percent to 16.9 billion rubles.

The spending structure was traditionally dominated by a social component - 77.3 percent of all spending. 8 billion rubles were directed to finance capital investment and road infrastructure, or 9.8 percent of total expenditures.

The budget of Bashkortostan at half-year end was executed with a surplus of 7.6 billion rubles: revenues - 75.8 billion with an increase of 12.4 percent compared to January-June of 2015; expenditures - 68.25 billion rubles with an increase of 6.1 percent.

Incomes of local budgets (39.96 billion rubles) exceeded the costs (38.66 billion) by 1.3 billion rubles.
