Project to construct "Ufa-Yangtze" International Business Centre is developed in Bashkortostan

UFA, 8 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, a number of projects are developed in the framework of cooperation between Russia and China in the "Volga-Yangtze" format. The concept of new facilities was discussed at the meeting of the Russian part of the joint working group headed by the Deputy Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to Volga Federal District Yuri Zolotarev. The Chief Federal Inspector for Bashkortostan Andrey Chechevatov took part in it in a video-conferencing mode.
Currently projects to establish the Sino-Russian international trading centre, to construct the "Ufa-Yangtze" International Business Centre, to cooperate in the sphere of mining waste dumps processing are actively developed in the republic. One of the major investment projects implemented since 2016, is a construction of a cement plant in Sibai. The total cost of the project will be about US $ 200 million. The planned production capacity is 1.5 million tons of clinker (an intermediate product in cement production) per year. The total volume of production is 3 million tons per year, including clinker, limestone, commercial products as well as chemical products. It is planned to create an industrial park at the cement plant premises, which will include soda ash production, commercial lime, aerated concrete, dry mixes, concrete and other products.
Yuri Zolotarev said that on July 19 in Ulyanovsk the first meeting of the Inter-Regional Cooperation Council in the "Volga-Yangtze" format under the chairmanship of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich and the State Councilor of the People's Republic of China Yang Jiechi would be held, the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector for RB reports.
