Bashkiria has signed an agreement with Rosatom company

UFA, 8 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan Development Corporation signed an agreement on cooperation with Science and Innovation JSC.

The Science and Innovation Company coordinates assets and research activities of 13 innovation management institutes of Rosatom State Corporation.

The main purpose of the agreement is to expand opportunities for potential investors in the organization of new production facilities in the territory of Bashkortostan. According to the document, the parties will inform each other about a possibility of joint participation in various programs and projects as a technological or an industrial partner with existing competences.

According to the press service of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, now epichlorohydrin and epoxy resin production establishing in the republic is discussed.

The Science and Innovation Management Company has already submitted proposals for the establishment of import-substituting production of epichlorohydrin from glycerin based on domestic technology with capacity of 25 thousand tons per year. In turn, the Bashkortostan Development Corporation will act as a coordinator of this project.

According to experts, the cooperation of Bashkortostan Development Corporation and the Science and Innovation Company is promising in terms of investment projects implementation in several areas.

Primarily it regards water conditioning and purification, water treatment, recycling of various types of solid waste, composite materials, rare and rare-earth metals, medicine, construction, generation, transmission and storage of energy, manufacture of chemicals and recycling of electronic scrap.
