Bashneft shareholders approved dividends for 2015

UFA, 30 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olesya Seregina/. The shareholders of PJOSC Bashneft at the annual meeting approved dividends for 2015 in the amount of 29.1 billion rubles, which is 50 percent of net profit under IFRS. 164 rubles will be paid per each ordinary and preferred share.

The controlling shareholder of Bashneft is the Russian Federation represented by the Federal Property Management Agency. The Republic of Bashkortostan owns a blocking stake (25 percent plus one share). Thus, 7.3 billion rubles of Bashneft dividends will be transferred to the regional treasury. Last year, the republic received dividends from the stake in Bashneft in the amount of 5 billion rubles in 2014.

"The amendments to the budget of the republic will be taken and specific areas will be identified after the additional revenues will be transferred. We will offer to direct these funds for the implementation of priority investment projects in the social field, construction of roads, as well as on the implementation of measures to improve the sustainability of the economy and social stability", said the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov.
