More than 800 thousand sq m of housing are commissioned in Bashkortostan year to date

In January-May in Bashkortostan at the expense of all sources of funding 9824 apartments with a total area of 819.3 thousand sq m were put into operation. This is seven percent less than for the same period of 2015. These data are available in the materials of the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service. 201 sq m of housing were built per thousand of inhabitants.

The housing construction structure of the republic is dominated by the share of housing built by individuals at their own expense and with the help of loans - 70.7 percent. Thus, in January-May 2015, this figure was 69.2 percent. For five months of the year people of the region have built 5299 their own residential houses with an area of .2 thousand sq m. This is by 4.9 percent less than during the same period of 2015.

Among the regions of the Volga Federal District in the first five months Bashkortostan is on the second place in commissioning residential houses, and on the fourth place in commissioning housing per capita after the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Mari El.
