Ufa and Kazan intend to cooperate in the field of tourism

UFA, 20 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Ufa and Kazan signed an agrement on cooperation in tourism development. It happened at the annual 4th Best Municipal Practices Forum that took place these days in the capital of Bashkortostan.

According to the Mayor's Office of Kazan, the signed document involves an interaction of tourist companies of the two capitals, organization of tourist exchange for student groups, schoolchildren, representatives of business community, municipal officials through the formation of a package of proposals for hiking trails and event activities, conducting joint conferences, exhibitions, seminars, festivals and other events.

The main activities of the 4th Best Municipal Practices Forum of the Union of Russian Cities took place in Ufa from June 16 to 17. It was attended by over 400 people - members of the Federation Council, State Duma, experts, representatives of ministries and departments, mayors and representatives of large Russian cities, as well as foreign colleagues.
