Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant has mastered import-substituting products for car industry

UFA, 17 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency/. Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (JSC "BMK", part of the "Mechel" Group) started production of a new steel wires for the automotive industry. A pilot batch of products is shipped to the company for production of various springs in the city of Dzerzhinsk.

The wires are used in manufacture of valve springs and suspension springs for cars and trucks.

It is planned that in the future and other domestic automotive enterprises will become the wire consumers.

JSC "Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant" is the largest Russian metalware company. The plant produces wire rod, steel wire of high-quality steels, steel ropes, straps of various sizes and sections, nails, hoisting devices. BMK products are in demand in many industries: construction, energy, engineering, as well as enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
