Bashkortostan Delegation participates in the 20th Petersburg International Economic Forum

UFA, 17 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency/, Sergey Zakharov. The delegation of Bashkortostan headed by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov takes part in the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The forum program includes holding of the SCO and BRICS business forums, "Business 20" forum, a series of conferences, seminars and discussions, which also are attended by representatives of the Bashkir delegation.

At the meeting of the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan and General Director of LLC "United Heineken Brewery" Mr. Etienne Strijp the issues of the enterprise quality development in the republic was discussed.

The "United Breweries Heineken" company increases excise payments to the budget of the republic. "If in 2015 we transferred 2.05 billion rubles of excises, this year we expect them to grow to 2.07 billion rubles," said Etienne Strijp.

Rustem Mardanov also discussed the implementation of the "Safe Region" program in Bashkortostan with the Vice President - Director of macro-regional branch "Volga" of PJSC "Rostelecom" Dmitry Proskura. "Rostelecom" also plans to increase tax payments to the budget of our republic.

The forum also hosted a meeting of the Minister of Economic Development of the republic Sergey Novikov with the Business France International Agency. They discussed prospects of investment cooperation between Bashkortostan and France in the field of petrochemical industry, agriculture and infrastructure development. Special attention was paid to the organization of export deliveries of Bashkir agricultural products to France.
