Rustem Khamitov has met with Deputy Chairman of PJSC Gazprom Board Andrey Kruglov

UFA, 3 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom Andrey Kruglov. The sides discussed issues of the gas transport system development and modernization of production facilities in the republic.

The Head of the Republic noted that Gazprom enterprises in Bashkortostan had a good program for the modernization of production facilities.

According to Rustem Khamitov, deep processing of gas, which is transported through the territory of the region, can be one of the possible ways to develop the company's activities in the republic.

Andrey Kruglov, who came to Ufa to participate in the industry meeting of the heads of financial and economic departments of PJSC "Gazprom" and its subsidiaries, marked hospitality of the republican inhabitants and high level of infrastructure for holding congress events.

Despite the difficult situation in the economy Gazprom continues to carry out all its social obligations.

“We index the wages of our employees. We are implementing a social program, completing the construction of sports infrastructure in the framework of "Gazprom - for Children" program. We discussed a construction of sports facilities here. I think that, despite the difficult situation, which will continue and this year too, Gazprom will perform all its social obligations”, Andrey Kruglov underlined.

Rustem Khamitov and Andrey Kruglov also discussed the topic of consumer gas debts.

“We are aware of our problems relating to gas consumption debts. This is a special topic, it is under our control,” said the Head of Bashkortostan. “Earlier the debts were greater than today, but we are gradually reducing them.”

“We are also interested in a close cooperation on this issue, because there are various solutions of it. This may be a transfer of certain property of gas infrastructure. We should discuss this issue with our colleagues from "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ufa", "Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie Ufa".
