New cars sales increased in Bashkortostan

UFA, 2 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Bashkortostan, the market of new passenger cars showed an increase of four percent in January-April compared to the same period of the last year. This figure fell by 1.2 percent in Russia as a whole.

According to the «Autostat» agency, the republic entered the Top 10 of the largest regional markets for the sale of new passenger cars in the first four months of the year. During this period, 12.3 thousand vehicles were sold in the republic, while in the last year - 11.8 thousand. In general, the Russian market amounted to 381,000 new cars. The share of our region was 3.23 percent.

According to experts, in 34 Russian entities the market decline is observed, and the worst situation is in the Bryansk region and the Altai Territory (-19.6 and -19 percent, respectively).
