Issues of Russian standardization system improvement will be discussed in Ufa

UFA, 31 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. On June 2-3, Ufa will host an inter-regional inter-branch conference "Standardization: new legislation and practice", organized by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation (Rosstandart) and the RUIE Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment with the support of the Government of Bashkortostan, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Trade RF and State regional centre of standardization, metrology and testing in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The purpose of the conference is to clarify practical application of the federal law «On standardization in the Russian Federation» in terms of stimulating the domestic production development and increasing import substitution. The law will enter into full force since July 1, 2016.

The conference will address the issues of information support of the Russian system of standardization, business participation in standards development, regulations of ministries and departments necessary for the implementation of the federal law. Issues of technical regulation system formation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the current issues of the technical regulations implementation will be discussed.

On June 2, the conference will be held in the conference hall of the VDNkH exhibition complex. The winners of the republican contest "Best Goods of Bashkortostan 2016" will be awarded in its framework.

On June 3, at the President Hotel the conference participants will discuss the most important issues in the format of "round tables".
