Ufa Airport introduced a new passenger access control system in the "clean" zone

UFA, 30 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Ufa Airport introduced a new passenger access control system into a "clean" zone. The Ufa International Airport has become the first aviation enterprise that deploys fully domestic software product. The "Asteros. Automated Passenger Access Control System"(AKDP) module is an additional option of the "Asteros Contact Avia" common check-in solution and for the moment has no analogues in the Russian market of software products for airports, the press service of the air hub informs.

The new system will prevent unlawful interference with the airport and airlines activity. Its main task is to identify potentially dangerous individuals wanted by law enforcement agencies. In addition, the automated access control allows tracking movement of passengers inside the airport. Today, the system is implemented and is used for access to sectors A and C. The airport will be fully transferred to the automated passenger access control in the "clean" zone since June 1, 2016.
