Russian Petrochemical Forum comes to an end in Ufa
UFA, 27 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa, the Petrochemical Forum comes to an end. The main topic of a plenary meeting was the development of the national petrochemical industry. Opening the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov informed that the republican industry clusters comprising more than 300 companies, had united into a territorial petrochemical mega-cluster. The republic has been working on creation of industrial clusters for five years. Small-scale petrochemical industry parks, petrochemical engineering parks have been created. Thus the mega-cluster represents itself a network structure to ensure a complete production cycle. The Bashkir mega-cluster establishes cooperation with Tatarstan petrochemical cluster, the Prime Minister said. The investment agreement with expected positive results was signed.
The Forum was continued with the expert council of the Federal Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Energy on development of low-tonnage chemistry. The relevant sections discussed the development of industries and technologies to increase profitability, import substitution issues. The Russian Petrochemical Forum is held in Ufa during May 24-27.
