The head of the bank German Gref announced this at the 3rd Convent of "Skolkovo" business school graduates. According to him, in 2-3 years the need for "plastic" will disappear. The country's largest credit organization plans to introduce into use the recognition by voice and appearance. Such programs are already being tested in Moscow. Under this system, a customer does not need to appear in the bank with documents for the transactions. "This technology should determine the cases when a person calls under compulsion or when fraudsters took over the customer information through social engineering techniques", the bank's press service specifies. However, other financial institutions do not plan to abandon the cards in the foreseeable future.
