Bashkiria presented experience in implementing proactive budgeting practices in Moscow
UFA, 19 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The Bashkortostan Ministry of Finance presented the republican experience in proactive budgeting practices implementation in Moscow. The presentation was held at the first All-Russian seminar "Development of Proactive Budgeting in the Regions of Russia in 2016-2018 years".
The project on developing proactive budgeting is part of an agreement between the Russian Ministry of Finance and the World Bank and is one of the most promising and rapidly developing areas of cooperation. Representatives of 23 regions that will participate in the federal project to develop the proactive budgeting arrived to discuss its features.
Apart from Bashkortostan, among them there were - Volgograd, Vologda, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl and Moscow regions, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Altai, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Stavropol, Khabarovsk Territories, Karelia, Komi, Sakha (Yakutia) and the Karachay-Cherkess Republics.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance RB, Bashkortostan was selected for the implementation of the project not occasionally. The republican experience in implementing proactive budgeting practices is one of the most successful in the country.
The pilot launch of the project took place in the territory of the Trans-Urals regions in 2014. In 2016, the program gained national scale and now is implemented in almost all cities and districts.
