Bashkiria took second place in Volga Federal District in housing construction

UFA, 18 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Bashkortostan was the second in the Volga Federal District in commissioning of apartment houses in January-April this year. The republic is on the fifth place in the district in housing construction per capita. Such data are given by Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

For the first four months of 2016, 7551 apartments with total area of 632.2 thousand sq m were commissioned in the republic. Compared with the last year, it is by 6.5 percent less. Bashkortostan has conceded only to Tatarstan, where 799 thousand sq m of housing were built.

155 sq m of housing were built per thousand of inhabitants in Bashkortostan in January-April this year.

As the statisticians mark, in the structure of housing construction the share of housing built by the population at its own expense and with the help of loans amounted to 71.4 percent compared to 65.6 percent in January-April last year. Total 4083 private houses were constructed with an area of 451.6 thousand sq m. This is by 1.8 percent higher than the volume of housing built in the same period of 2015.
