Rustem Khamitov visited Novo-Salavat CHP

UFA, 13 May 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On May 12, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip to Salavat examined "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" investment projects.

The Head of the Republic started his visit to the company from the Novo-Salavat CHP. Here since 2012, the investment project for construction of steam power generating unit PGU-410T is implemented.

Technical and economic parameters of the facility will be one of the best in the global practice of CHPs. The unit capacity will amount to 400 MW electrical and 200 Gcal/h of thermal energy. About 100 jobs will be created. The investment in the project totals 28.5 billion rubles.

PGU-410T will reduce the cost of electricity and thermal energy for the needs of the company taking into account the modernization of factories and construction of new facilities.

Rustem Khamitov examined the control panel, the computer room and gas turbine premises. According to the director of PGU Dmitry Stepanov, construction and installation works at the site are almost completed. Commissioning of the main and auxiliary equipment is continued, works are began to receive natural gas for running the turbine. It is scheduled to put the facility into operation in the third quarter of 2016.
